Seacom Skills University’s objective of the Ph. D. program is to prepare the next generation of leading education researchers. The foundation of the doctoral experience at the School of Doctoral Studies is the research apprenticeship that all students undertake, typically under the guidance of their academic advisor but often with other faculty as well.
Our assumption is that by aggressively participating in the research of our faculty, Ph. D. scholars can develop the skill-set they need to undertake outstanding research of their own. We allocate Ph. D. students research-training opportunities starting from their very first year in the program.
School of Doctoral Studies, Seacom Skills University’s main aim is to inspire scientific excellence by supporting and encouraging the very best, truly creative scientists, scholars and educationists to be adventurous and take risks in their research. The scholars are encouraged to go beyond established frontiers of knowledge and the boundaries of disciplines.
