Mini Convocation 2023

It is notified for information to all concerned that the Mini-Convocation of Seacom Skills University will be held on 18th November, 2023 in the Bolpur campus at Kendradangal, Birbhum, West Bengal to confer Degrees to the students who have passed UG &/ or PG courses of study in Science, Arts, Commerce, Business Management, Agriculture, Pharmacy, Engineering, Legal Studies, Visual Arts & Hotel Management in the year of 2021, 2022 & 2023, and to the students who have completed Ph.D. courses during 10-12-2019 to 31-10-2023. Those willing to receive the Degree (-s) physically in the said Convocation are requested to apply through the link proved by depositing an amount of Rs. 1000 (Rupees One Thousand) as the Registration fee. The last date for registration is 31-10-2023 after which no application of participation for Convocation will be accepted. The Convocation Robe (Uttariya) will be available from the office of the COE on 17th November, 2023 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM against production of receipt of registration fee. The participating candidates will need to be present at the Convocation venue on 17-11-2023 at 2-00 PM for rehearsal and roll call which is mandatory. The candidates must follow an uniform dress code which is prescribed as white Pajama & white full sleeve Punjabi (Kurta) in case of male candidates and white Saree with Golden par in case of female candidates.

Addendum

In continuation of earlier texts uploaded in the SSU website in the head of ‘Convocation Notification’, it is notified for information to all concerned that the last date of registration is extended up to 07 November, 2023. Further that candidates not able to be physically present in the Convocation to receive the degree (-s) will have to collect the certificates from the next working day onwards from the University upon deposition of Rs. 1000/- plus requisite fine. Alongside, presence of degree recipients in the University before the day (17 November, 2023) of Convocation will not be considered as mandatory; however, in such cases, ‘Uttariyo’ has to be collected from the respective counter between 9-00 AM to 10-00 AM on 18 November, 2023. But ‘without Uttariyo’ no candidate will be allowed to enter the Convocation venue.
